Title: The Illinois Central Gulf and Calumet Railroad
Category: Model Railroads
Author's Name: AzBaja
Address: www.icgrr.com
Published: 14-Feb-2009

Description:
The Illinois Central Gulf and Calumet Railroad is a "protolanced" HO scale model railroad set in the late 1970's. The layout will contain elements of the ICG from Chicago to Champaign as well as Decatur, Illinois. In addition, the freelanced Calumet Railroad is also featured. The design has been created with operations as the ultimate goal with heavy overhead traffic, as well as local and urban switching. Interchange with the GTW, EJ&E, and IHB in the Chicago area will provide additional operational interest. Steel mill operations are prominently featured.
