What I'm building is a proto-freelance, HO scale layout depicting the line that runs from Louisville, MS., through Ackerman, Starkville, West Point, Artesia, Crawford and on to Meridian, MS. My main focus is to have fun running trains and not to be prototypical to an era or exact location. Most of the downtown Starkville area will be depicted fairly accurately while the rest of the layout will be fudged a little. This layout will be controlled by a DCC system and will be multi-deck in design. I will try to chronicle the design and construction of the layout on this page. As I mentioned, I love to run trains of all kind so you never know what you'll see on the Aberdeen Sub of the ICG.
